Carbide knives – the future of the agriculture

One of the specific lines of the product portfolio is represented by knives with carbide plates. We achieved the exceptional properties of these knives thanks to the innovative technological process of their production – we replaced the cutting part of the knife with carbide plates with hardness of 66-68 HRC.
We thus extended the life of the knife by 2.5-3 times compared to knives with tungsten coating.
Extreme hardness & wear resistance
- tungsten carbide is extremely hard and wear-resistant – this property allows carbide knives to maintain a sharp cutting edge for an extended period, reducing the frequency of replacement (compared to knives made from standardly used materials)
- carbide blades provide excellent durability and wear resistance to abrasion– key for work in demanding conditions (mainly cutting hay and straw)
High cutting performance & versatility
- carbide knives offer high cutting performance, making them effective for tasks such as shredding, chopping, and cutting various materials
- the sharp and durable edges provided by carbide contributes to efficient and precise cutting
- tungsten carbide has excellent resistance to corrosion, which is beneficial in agricultural environments where knives may be exposed to moisture, chemicals, and other corrosive elements
