FONTANA, a.s. has been pursuing its activities since 1991 and currently belongs to one of the largest manufacturers of knives and cutting parts for agricultural machines. Our production range includes more than 800 types of products for harvesting, processing and preparation of fodder, which are used by satisfied customers throughout Europe, Canada, America, Israel, Australia, South Korea and New Zealand.
Since 2004, our company has been a holder of the ISO 9001 quality certificate in the field of production of components and agricultural machines, sale of components and other spare parts.

Extra Quality knives
Our production range also includes knives specially developed for extremely demanding conditions of cutting and mixing during the preparation of TMR as well as during the collection of fodder.
Exceptional strength and durability
Extra Quality knives are the result of a sophisticated production process and the utilization of the most modern technologies. They are made of chrome vanadium steel and are characterized by maximum strength and durability. To increase wear resistance, a layer of powder – containing a minimum of 30% tungsten carbide grains – is applied to the edge of the knife.
Longer service life thanks to new technology
Extra Quality knives, where we have achieved even higher durability. We made the knife teeth from carbide plates with a hardness of 66-68 HRC. We have extended the service life of the knife by 2.5-3 times compared to knives with coating.
