FONTANA, a.s. yet again expanded its production and invested in its modernization 

In FONTANA, a.s. we value the trust that our customers place in us and for more than three decades we have based our work on the effort to bring them the best solutions and being a reliable partner for them. We are pleased that, as part of our long-term efforts to maintain first-class product quality and flexibility in relation to customer requirements, we have once again expanded our production premises.

We started the construction of a new production hall with an area of 2,000 m2, in August 2022. The construction works have been executed by KOIFER s.r.o. The first step was the removal of the original hall, which did not meet the requirements for the installation of new technologies. We are pleased that we were able to successfully complete the hall within seven months.

The new production hall not only provides facilities for storage and dispatch area, but also meets the conditions for the installation of new technologies.

Modernization of production is important for us not only because of the long-term effort to increase productivity, but especially in connection with the effort to provide our clients with shorter delivery times. One of the new technologies that we invested in during 2022 was laser cutting technology – an automated workplace with material storage and removal of cut pieces.

Thanks to the team of experienced experts, the latest technologies and the quality of the materials used, more than 700 000 knives and cutting parts for a wide range of machines for harvesting, processing and preparation of fodder are produced annually in our engineering production.
